so we went hiking and Shane picked the trail. Which would be fine except he's a survival expert and I'm wildly out of shape. The trail he picked was labeled "experienced hikers only." I really wasn't sure I was going to make it. It was fun though and the way down was much more fun. The way up was pretty much rock climbing, and in places there were railings it was so steep. Being my mother's daughter I slid down the railings which was freaking Shane out since they were super steep. So the pictures are #1 taken from about the halfway point. I was trying to show the people, which you can't see since it's so far away. Also my finger a little. #2 you came around the corner and there's a rock face and a railing. It was super steep as you can see. #3 there were all sorts of crevasses where the wind had carved out holes. #4 view from the top. #5 us at the top with the accidental photobomber in the background. #6 just showing part of the rocky hike. #7 looking down on the less steep railing. #8 the steeper railing and Shane walking down since he isn't as crazy as me I guess.
